Avec cette nouvelle collection, nous avons souhaité donné à voir, à entendre toute la richesse musicale des artistes Gitans et Manouches peuplant le territoire catalan. D’appropriation en récréation, ils n’ont de cesse de faire vivre ces musiques, de les réenchanter et d’en proposer une lecture résolument moderne, ouverte sur le monde.
Dans ce premier opus, consacré à la guitare nous emprunterons les routes du jazz, des musiques latines et du flamenco aux côtés d’artistes de renoms et de jeunes talents. Avec “The sound of guitars”, c’est une première porte ouverte sur les musiques gitanes et manouches de l’arc méditerranéen que nous découvrirons peu à peu au travers de la collection “Mediteranean Gypsies roads”.
With this new collection, we wanted to show, to hear all the musical richness of Gypsy and Manouche artists populating the Catalan territory. From appropriation to recreation, they never stop bringing this music to life, re-enchanting it and offering it a resolutely modern reading, open to the world.
In this first opus, dedicated to the guitar, we will take the routes of jazz, Latin music and flamenco alongside renowned artists and young talents. With "The sound of guitars", it is a first door open to gypsy music of the Mediterranean arc that we will discover little by little through the "Mediteranean Gypsies roads" collection.
Amb aquesta nova col·lecció, hem volgut mostrar, fer escoltar tota la riquesa musical dels artistes gitanos i manouches que viuen al territori catala. De l’apropiació a la recreació, no paren de donar vida a aquestes músiques, de reencantar-les i d’oferir una lectura resoludament moderna i oberta al món.
En aquesta primera obra, dedicada a la guitarra, recorrerem les rutes del jazz, de les músiques llatines i del flamenc acompanyats d’artistes de renom i joves talents. "The sound of guitars", és una primera porta oberta a la música gitana i manouche de l'arc mediterrani que anirem descobrint, a poc a poc, a través de la col·lecció "Mediteranean Gypsy roads".
